From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the soothing sounds of the river flowing through the garden, creating a tranquil setting that made us feel instantly at ease. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished and equipped with modern amenities, including a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed for our self-catering stay. the spacious bedrooms were a welcome retreat after a day of exploring Ripley Castle and the surrounding area. the bathroom, complete with a refreshing shower, provided the perfect respite for relaxation. One of the highlights of our stay was watching the steam train pass by on the other side of the trees, adding a touch of nostalgia to our experience. the garden seating area was a lovely spot to enjoy our morning coffee or unwind in the evening, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature. the proximity to Leeds Bradford International Airport made our journey seamless, while the free private parking added an extra layer of convenience.
